What is a liquidation heatmap?
A liquidation heatmap shows the price levels where many leveraged futures positions would be force-closed by the exchange. Short liquidations sit above the current price, long liquidations below it. Big clusters hold a lot of liquidity – when price reaches them, forced buying or selling can cause fast spikes and wicks.
MMTC Pulse estimates these levels from Binance Futures candles and open-interest changes over the last 21 days. It is a model, not the exchange's real order book, and not financial advice.
