How to read the order book heatmap

  • Bright lines are large limit orders resting at a price. Below the price they are buy orders (bids), above it sell orders (asks).
  • The white line is the price (mid between best bid and ask). When it runs into a wall, the wall gets filled – or it is pulled before.
  • Bubbles are single large market orders. The area grows with the USD value; partial fills of one order are merged.
  • Controls: pick the coin (BTC, ETH, SOL) and the range (1h, 6h, 24h) at the top. The slider button hides small bubbles and changes contrast or price range. Hover over or tap the heatmap for price, bid and ask volume.
  • History is recorded every minute from Binance Futures (fallback Bybit); after that the heatmap continues live in your browser. Depth is limited to what the exchange publishes.
Notice

MMTC Pulse is an information tool, not investment advice. The order book heatmap shows publicly visible limit orders of the futures exchanges (Binance, Bybit as a fallback); walls can disappear at any time or be placed only for show (spoofing). Trading crypto and futures is risky – up to a total loss. Risk notice
