Magnets next to your own trades – and the alert on your phone.

MMTC Pulse shows the magnets right next to your open positions. Pulse alerts you with a notification before a trade runs into a magnet and shows the magnet countdown as a Live Activity on the lock screen.

How to read this page

  • Magnet above: the largest estimated cluster of short liquidations above the price. If it is reached, shorts have to buy back – which can briefly push price up.
  • Magnet below: the largest cluster of long liquidations below the price. If it is reached, longs are force-sold – which can briefly push price down.
  • Ladder: the five largest clusters on each side, sorted by price. The bars show the estimated size relative to each other.
  • Liquidated 24 h: liquidations actually triggered on Binance, Bybit and OKX – a slice of the whole market.

FAQ

What is a liquidation magnet?

A price zone where a lot of leveraged positions would be liquidated. If price runs there, forced orders can briefly amplify the move – that is why such zones often act like a magnet.

How does Pulse calculate the magnets?

From prices and open-interest changes of the last 21 days on Binance futures, Pulse estimates where positions with typical leverage (5× to 100×) would be liquidated. Levels price has already swept drop out. Nearby levels are grouped into clusters and estimated in US dollars; shown is the strongest cluster above and below the price.

Where does the data come from?

The magnets are a model estimate from public Binance futures data. The figures on liquidations actually triggered in the last 24 hours are collected continuously via the public interfaces of Binance, Bybit and OKX.

How current are the values?

The page is recalculated about every minute and refreshes itself while it is open. The time at the top of the panel shows when.

Are magnets price targets or signals?

No. A magnet does not predict whether price will reach it. Magnets are estimates, not real orders in the order book, and can shift quickly. When a cluster gets swept, price often overshoots it by 1–2%. Not investment advice.

How is this different from the liquidation heatmap?

The heatmap shows all estimated liquidation zones as an area. The magnets page condenses that into the strongest clusters above and below the price – with the distance in percent. The MMTC Pulse app has both for many futures coins.
